So we got out of Medford just fine, checked 18 bags of luggage, and were on our way to Seattle...when the flight attendant says "Seattle is covered in fog, we are going to ground you in Yakima, until it clears"  It is now 9:30 and our connecting flight to Amsterdam is at 1:00.  We are ignoring the claims that it is getting worse in Seattle.  We still have time... right?

Koehlers,
Godspeed. I pray you are safely on your way to Amsterdam enroute to Uganda. I laughed heartily at the Mt. Dew experiment. Hope your little travelers are doing well. Hugs and loves to "Di-Nana and Gook" and all of you! Love you!!

Are you still in Yakima??
Do you need anything? I'm just 30 minutes away? Seriously!

Oh Heather! We are praying without ceasing here for you all! Especially the Bible Study ladies. We can't wait to hear from you more! Love you and we will do anything and everything we can here on the homefront to make life easier for you when you get back. Are you sure I can't go clean something? Or how about clean up the garden and prepare the planting beds for winter? Please? Pretty please? With sugar on top? Love, Julie

Hi All,
Got this e-mail update from Heather. They made it safely to Uganda. I took the liberty of of cutting and pasting it here as a comment. (Hope that is okay Heather.)God is working more and more miracles. I can't wait to hear how their first meeting with Joshua goes. We love you Koehler family and we are thinking of you and praying for you constantly! This is what Heather says:

I am Sooo sorry we could not update as we traveled. We made all our connections... but just barely! We got in to the hotel at 10:00ish pm and then, in the midst of finding pjs somewhere in one of the 17 bags we checked, and dragging our weary bodies into bed, I get a message saying "call Action for Children when you get in! Urgent." So I called to let them know we got in and she said "I will be at the hotel at 9 am to take you to see Joshua" They are making an exception to the hard and fast 'no visitors on the weekend' rule! it is 3:30 am now, and i woke to faith having a fight with carmen in her dream. I hve had almost 7 hours sleep in the last 72 hours, my body is shaky tired but my heart was REALLY pulled to get up and let you know we are safe. (because im sure you are worried and I know it will be too crazy in the morning to do this ...and you will all be alseep anyway! I can not post on our blog because a warning pops up that says

The country you are in or the computer you are using has been banned from using Weebly. not sure how ill resolve that one yet. i need to sleep I hope you get this! will you call eachother as soon as you DO get it, in case one of you does not check e-mail again today. sorry its so choppy, I am exhausted an sitting in the dark trying to be quiet. What an adventure.I love you !!! I will update you on our first meeting with Joshua as soon as i can. i love you all!!!!!!!!

Blessings,
Heather
